I have been doing controlled crying with my DS for the last 3 nights and it seems to be working like a dream. I am just not sure wether I should be using the same teqnique for his day time naps. Any advice would be apprieciated

how do you decide how long your ds should be sleeping in the day? I just presume ds has had enough sleep and get him up. then let him nap again if he's tired later on.

My DS, at around 5 months, had problems going off for daytime naps (but was fine at night) so we used controlled crying during day -took a couple of days but we've never looked back since

What was the longest you had to leave him to cry for? I timed how long I left my LO last night because I was getting a bit crazy by the end of the day so I thought I should take a little time out. I managed two minutes - felt like 20.
