Help please i cant go on like this no sleep 1year old

1 year old baby doesn't go to sleep till 4am then only sleeps 4 hours she doesnt seem tired ever, im so exhaused and tearful i cant go on like this. If i put her to bed she just screams and gets so upset and distrault. She has never slept well but its getting worse.

There is a sleep clinic called Millpond who work over the phone and are meant to be really great. I was going to use them but I went for the scream it out option which seems to be working.....it was my last resort!! anyway might be worth googling them...good luck x

My daughter slept well from 4 months and then when she was 1 it all went downhill.In the end I did controlled crying as I couldn't cope anymore....and it worked very very quickly.I think CC is a bit misunderstood,I never left her for more than 10 minute intervals.

I read a book called 'Teach your child to Sleep through the night',if you look on Amazon you should find it.It's not a long read so you can whizz through it quickly.
If you don't want her to cry lots of people like the 'No Cry Sleep Solution' book but to be honest I found it very wishy washy.

Hope you get some help, my DD wasn't sleeping through at this age either (although she did sleep more than your baby) - it is so exhausting, you have my sympathy.

My ds is 5 months and hasn't sleep through the night I'm exhausted so I can't imagine what you are feeling! We tried the no cry sleep solution and it did kind of work for us eg he now goes to sleep at night by himself but it was a long process.
I have now booked an appointment with millpond for FRiday as I think we have some issues that I can't find a solution to no matter what book I read!
They are expensive about £270 I think and they do say it will take 4-6 weeks to work longer if you don't do cc but for me it is totally worth it. Sleep depravation does crazy stuff to you it used as a torture for a reason!
