Mine are 3.11 and 2.1 and they still have a long nap in the middle of the day.

When else would I have a cup of tea in peace? Smile

DD started going to every other day about 18 months. Dropped it completely just before her first birthday. In fact the last nap she ever had was the first day I was on my own with her and newborn DD2 Angry

Just before her 2nd birthday I meant!

DS1 was 3.6. I reckon we were quite lucky - meglet you're even luckier!

My DD has recently stopped in the last couple of weeks, she's 2.6.She is really grumpy in the evenings though!

Orissiah · 08/10/2010 10:00

When she hit 2, she started to create a real fuss when put into the cot for her lunchtime nap so 9 times out of 10 I simply didn't put her down; when out and about she still napped in her buggy. She's 2.4 years old now and doesn't tend to nap at all in buggy. At her childminders, she will power nap for 10 mins if the other children are also napping.

So I think at 2.4 years, her naps are over. Her naptime is now replaced by quiet time with CBeebies or stories on the bed.

On the plus side, her night time sleep (which was always really good) has become much deeper.

um 13 months!

DS was 13 months too
DD was about 18 months

but as a nursery nurse I have cared for 4 year olds that still need a nap.
