I'm sure I've read somewhere that you shouldn't position the cot under the window.....is this true and if so why not?

Thanks

Main reason I can think of would be so that the baby (once it can stand)can't get tangled up in blind cords etc. It would be more draughty too I would think.

Baby might get a draft in its eyes.. My daughter got a draft in her eyes in hospital when she was born, midwife opened window in the middle of winter and left them open.. She couldnt open her eyes for about a month...

Being caught up in the blinds cord, pulling curtains down and over him/herself, drafts, sunlight from under blinds/curtains, closer to street noise... any number of reasons, I imagine.
