Waking up screaming throughout the night

Our son (6month old) has been great, we even dropped his dream feed and he slept through the night (7.30 to approx 7)..

however recently hes been waking up every hour suddenly screeching/really distressed.

When we've got to him hes been hungry (breast-fed) however a week on and he wont even take milk just screeching and us just being there seems to placate him.

Is this classic teething-signs? His cheeks arent red.

Apart from Bonjella is there anything else we can help him with?

teething or possible illness (get him checked out for ear infection)?

Anbesol (can get from pharmacy) ointment is good for teething pain - numbs the area totally. And alternate doses of calpol and nurofen for children.

It will pass.

or wind? Sounds like wind...are you properly winding him after every feed (even if he's asleep?)

Is he on solids? Could be something he's eating which disagrees with him maybe.

Sounds like my daughter when she was teething. It only happened while the 1st tooth was coming through, it lasted for about a month
