How come he can self-settle to naps and not at night.. AT ALL!!!

DS is nearly 10 months. He has 3 hours worth of daytime naps, usually a 2 and a 1. Morning nap, I put him in his pushchair (Baby Jogger City Mini), pull down the hood and he is asleep in 3-5 mins. Afternoon nap is three hours after waking and, again, in the pushchair.

Does NOT work in the cot. Won't settle there, either in the day or at night. He seems to hate it. I am reluctant to rush out and buy another one though!

He can take HOURS to go to sleep at night.. and ends up being fed to sleep always Hmm and then in our bed at 4 or 5 (sometimes earlier).

Help!

Our son has reflux, has had since he was born. Do you think it could be something like that? I just wonder, since in the cot he is lying flat? It's the only think I can think of... We use infant Gaviscon, prescribed the GP in his last feed. We give him that just before he has his bedtime breastfeed but lately he pushes it away! It smells vile, so I don't blame him....
