Is this 4 month sleep regression?

My daughter is 20 weeks old & over the past week her night sleep has completely gone to pot! Since she was about 10 weeks old she has gone to bed at 6.30pm and has slept through quite happily until sometime around 2-4am when she wakes for a feed. So far so good! Sometimes she wakes during this time but has managed to self settle without any help. Over the past week however she has started waking earlier and earlier (8.30pm on a couple of nights). We thought she might be hungry, but she's really not that interested in feeding and she seems very quickly to become quite distraught. Sometimes this happens multiple times, almost hourly. DH and I are completely exhausted (as is DD) and really at our wits' end as to what to do. Our HV said that quite a few babies at about this age go through a disturbed period & having Googled I was wondering if this was the 4 month sleep regression? Can anyone tell me how long it lasts (how long I might last??!) and if there is anything I can do to help - we hate seeing her so out of sorts. Thanks!
