i was sooo excited to get my sleepytot comforter for my 5.5 month old. she sleeps well except that 3 times a night she wakes for the dummy to be put back in...
so many people suggested the sleepytot

but she hates it!! it makes her more frustrated as she pulls the dummy out, while snuggling the bunny... then is frustrated she cant get dummy back in...its completely backfiring...

has anyone else used one with success? how do I teach her to get the dummy back in her mouth? and like this bunny like all the other kids...

We had the same problem and for us it was a frustrating wait until she just got old enough to find it and put it back in herself, nothing else worked. Sorry, probably not the response you were hoping for!

but did she eventually get it?

Yes, she eventually got the idea but by then we'd given up and the dummy wasn't attached to anything. I think by about 8 months I stopped having to go in to her in the night to plug her back in. We put about 6 dummies in the cot with her to increase her chances of being able to find one!!

DD1 has long given up dummies now but I'm now playing the same game with DD2, its neverending!

i didnt even want to give her a dummy... but she is obsessed. very sucky baby, uses her thumb too. at the moment she is still in our bedroom but I will be moving her into another room in 2 weeks....getting up just for the dummy is going to kill me!

does anyone have any other suggestions...

DS2 just got it. He's 10 months now. He's had it since he was 6 months. He has a dummy on each paw!
