I have a lovely 2yr old dd. She has always been the most amazing sleeper, asking to go to bed when tired, sleeping til 9am at weekends, 2 hour nap in the day on cue etc etc. (total contrast to dd1 who had to be visited by HV due to lack of sleep and unwillingness to sleep).
3 weeks ago the dummy fairies visited and took away her mimi (she had started chucking them down the side of the cot and waking up wanting them back 2 or 3 times a night- v tedious).

Since then, there is no getting her to sleep in the day- she's been coping quite well without but the nights are getting worse and worse. She wakes up and screams and screams. She is totally inconsolable. It is always at different times of the day and she cannot tell you what she wants. Hugs, comforting words etc do not help... she is rigid with screaming- it is quite scary. any ideas??
