So should I drop the dream feed?

Hi! I'm after some reassurance really that dropping the dream feed is the right thing to do...

My DS is 10 months old and, despite being a terrible sleeper early on, he has slept through for the past few months. (From 7.30 until 6ish, sometimes later and sometimes earlier- 5.00 this morning, but it's not often that bad!!!)

I give him a good feed at 7pm (bf) and am still giving him a dream feed at 10.30pm (bf) as I'm petrified it'll mess up his good sleep and he'll wake without it/ wake early all the time or something.

However, he's never hungry in the mornings now and is often fussy with his milk and breakfas despite being a good eater generally. He's getting plenty of milk and solids throughout the day with no weight issues. So... should I take the plunge and drop it or will that ruin our good nights?!!!

Hi, my dd is 11 motnsh old with a very similar sleep pattern to your DS. We were worried about dropping her dream feed because we thought it all might go to pot but she barely even noticed it. She just slept straight through without a peep and has done since. I think you should go for it.

Ooh, thanks Memoo... you were much braver than me! Ok though. I'm going to give it a go tonight!
