DD 2 has suddenly decided that she hates being in a grow bag which is fine but she is such a wriggler that no blanket/cover will stay on her! any ideas what to do? My mum suggested it was time to move her into a bed with a duvet and pillow, what do you reckon? She is an amazing sleeper by the way so don't want to ruin that!!

Try a fleecy oversuit - think Primark do them.

If she refuses that I'm afraid its time for the duvet and pillow. Duvet grippers are pretty good at keeping some of the duvet in place on them...

Is it ok to have a duvet and pillow in a cot or will I have to turn her cot into the bed?!

I think so - assume its a cotbed anyway. The toddler quilts are smaller and only 4 tog and you can get toddler pillows too.
