Bed guards for a king size bed?

Just bought a new bed, it is somewhat higher than I had anticipated Blush but is lovely :)

DD doesn't roll much at the moment, or indeed sleep/nap on her own so height is not an issue.

However, when she is rolling/walking and napping on her own (if that ever happens!) I'd be a bit worried about her falling out.

So should I worry about her falling out (bed is about chair height), floor is laminate.

Bed can't go against a wall so is it possible to get a bed guard to fit?

When she is fully mobile should we install steps?

We used an ordinary Tomy bed guard on DS's double bed. The bars which go under the matress don't go all the way to the otherside (obviously!) but we never had a problem with it moving due to the weight of the mattress.
