Day time sleeping

My 11month DD for 10 days was having 1 sleep a day. It was for about 1.5 hours. This was great as she was really tired by about 6-6.30pm and went straight to sleep in her cot.

Over the weekend she started sleeping just 45mins in the morning and needed an afternoon sleep again but wouldnt sleep till about 3.30pm. She will then sleep for anything up to 1.5hours. The first day I woke her after half an hour as I didnt want her to be up half the evening. But as it is most evenings we are now lucky to have her settled by 8pm. Last night I had to put her in her buggy as she got herself so distressed. She sleeps in her buggy during the day time and I dont really have any problems.

She doesnt really have a sleep routine but mostly sleeps in the morning from 9-9.30am. If we have to be somewhere she seems to be ok with this and sleep later. If we are at home she tends to want to go to sleep at the earlier time.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Have you tried putting her down after lunch?

Yes that is when she used to go down. But now she isnt tired then. I have tried doing it anyway but it is quite obvious that she is not ready for a nap.
