So, how do I cut down on night feeds?

Not sure if this should be in sleep or feeding...

DD is six months and has not slept through since the dreaded 4m regression. Her last feed is at 7.30 and she is asleep by 8pm. At first she was waking at 2am, then every 3-4 hours, now her first waking has become earlier and earlier until it is about 11.30pm, with subsequent wakings every 2-3 hours.

She cries if I try to settle her with a dummy, I am knackered so I BF her, she feeds properly, getting down to the job and draining each boob.

So - she's hungry? But she feeds often during the day too, and I make sure she has a proper, quiet feed at 6pm and again at 7.30pm before bed. She doesn't seem interested in solids although I am continuing to offer.

I know it shall pass... but when.... I am getting married in a month and I have so much to plan and to do, and I am so blimmin tired.

i think the best advice is to send DP in to settle her for a few nights, could offer water, of course she will actually be hungry until she feeds more in the day, perhaps he could settle at alternate feeds for a few days first
i didnt feel able to night wean till 1y (still havent done it) cos i was worried dd would be hungry as she is tiny
i found lying down cosleeping feeding a godsend
