10 week old stopped sleeping through...

My 10 week old daughter has basically slept through since she was about 6 weeks old. Most recently she has slept from 8pm until about 5 or 6am.

But now...

She woke up 5 nights ago at 3am, next night 2.30am, then 2am and the last two nights at 1.30am

Is she just growing? She has slept a lot today and was very grumpy last week but I don't know really.

Will it just pass on and she'll go back to her old ways?

Argh I hope so! I was so so pleased that we were getting there only for it all to change again.

Anyone in a similar situation?

It's the 3 month growth spurt.

Will be followed closely by the 4 month sleep regression.

Fingers crossed she goes back to sleeping through for you after that. Still waiting for my DD to learn to sleep through and she's 8 months old now!!

My 11 week old is doing the same thing. He never slept all the way through but we used to get at least a 6 hour stretch. He's been waking every 2 hours for the last four nights Shock

I assumed 3 month growth spurt but he was only disrupted for two nights with the six week one.

After googling, it looks like the three month growth spurt can go on for more than a week! (And I'm so hoping this doesn't develop into a bad night habit Sad)

It looks like we're in the same boat, Foxy. Good luck!

Last two nights she has slept right through so hopefully we're back on track. Phew! I do NOT do well with broken sleep! Grin

Very Envy DD is 15 weeks and still wakes once or twice a night, always expected it though as after all she is a baby. !!! But ohhh to have a full nights sleep would be bliss.

oh darling...
haaa. hahahaa

sorry, so much.

DS didn't sleep through til 16MONTHS!

On a more helpful note, it's normal. Concentrate on feeds during the day, make night time very very boring (dark, no talking)
