Dropping nap

DD (3.10, has napped longer than normal due to physical issues) has SN, so I don't know if that is affecting her, but basically, she is dropping her nap, going to bed early then treating bedtime as a big nap and waking to play in night for 1-3 hours, it's really exhausting...

Has anyone had experience of this, does it get better?

Uggh I am totally sympathetic. Grim, grim. My DS doesn't have SN so not sure how relevant but he has had times when he has had a massive nap in the daytime and then not going to sleep for hours at night. Can you give her a short nap and then put her to bed at normal time? Is there any way you can get her to nap during the day - driving around or something?

thanks! She doesnt give us much choice about the naps,if she doesn't want one nothing will induce her to sleep,if she does she would just lie down anywhere and sleep,or cry and cry until she goes to bed.
