2 year old DS wants my bed!

Am a bit puzzled with this one. DS is just 2 and for the past week does not want to sleep in his cot (though strangely has done for his 1 hour nap)....hysterical screaming for mum at bedtime..he settles immediately when put into our bed. Unfortunately he has to share a room with DD (3.10)who although an amazing sleeper herself cannot go to sleep with that sort of noise in her ear!

DS has had quite bad reflux and has affected his sleep in the past, not really sick now but extremely fussy with food. He has and probably still is really attached to me, probably because DH didn't bond with him until DS was almost 1. DS slept through for 12 hours from when he was 9 weeks with just a late feed but teething and any illness have completely thrown his sleep pattern...don't think he is ill now, he is like some sort of whirling crazed destructive creature during the day......in some respects I am OK with him in our bed....I am an awful mum if I don't get sufficient sleep but then don't want a spoilt child or disgruntled husband.....thoughts please?

Maybe move him into a big boy bed?

Give him a pillowcase on his pillow which you have lain on?
