hi, for the last few nights my 8 wk old dd has fed at 11pm then slept until 5.45am, but every night between 4-5am she has been grumbling and squirming about in her sleep. she is not crying or waking, and i tried feeding her but she only manages a few mouthfuls before falling asleep, i'm pretty sure she's not hungry. she is noisy enough to wake me, but i can't figure out what she wants. she grumbles for a few minutes then sleeps a bit then starts again. any suggestions???

Is it wind? My ds does this too, he is 5 weeks but has done it pretty much since birth and he usually starts up around 4-5am too.

you could be right. she does get a lot of wind from her bottom which seems a bit of an effort to get out Blush

i'm not sure whether she needs me for something or she's just making a noise
