Loads of girly ones but cant find a nice boys comforter to replace a dummy!?

Try Jellycat. You can find their range in places like John Lewis too. Try the ones with a soft toy and blanket like this. DS1 has one (actually, he has two, make sure you have a spare so you can rotate them and just in case you lose them) similar to the one I linked to and he loves sucking on the arms when he is teething... I've got loads! DS is 5 weeks old and comforters seemed to be the gift of choice when he was born! I think at least 2 are Jellycat though.

i don't know how old your son is, but i don't think a comforter will work with replacing a dummy (unless he's well over 2-ish and open to the idea?)

having something to suck is a lot different to having something to hold

im thinking of getting a sleepytot?

Its a comforter that you attatch dummy to..the aim is they learn to replace the dummy themselves Hmm sounds too good to be true
