sleeping on front....

Is it ok to put my 8 week old on his front for his naps, this seems to be the only way he sleeps for more than 3 minutes. i check him regularly anyway, and he can lift his neck now....is it a massive no-no? he sleeps on his back in the night though...

It's up to you obviously-I tried this but didn't work for DS as I couldn't get him comfy!

Is he properly winded? That might be why he wont go on his back for naps.

If you're in the room with him you can keep a close eye on him. That's what I would do - I didn't leave DS alone for naps anyway (on the rare occasion I got him in the cot) at that age.
