Co sleeping - stupid question

Dd2 sleeps with me and dh. She's 9 weeks and hasn't spent a night in the Moses basket she is now too big for - wasted purchase! At the moment she cluster feeds all evening and goes to be about when I would anyway around 11. We don't do routines and I'm completely happy with this but I presume at some point she'll start settling earlier and will have to go to bed before me and dh. Do we put her to bed in our bed or her cot? Dd1 also co slept but that was 9 years ago and I have forgotten.

We used to put DD in the middle of our bed on top of the duvet when she eventually started to settle earlier. She would always wake up when we went to bed anyway (often before) so it would be a good chance to feed and move her to wherever she was going to sleep, whether that was in our bed or in the sidecar cot.

I put DS in a cot, and then bring him into bed with me the first time he wakes after I've gone to bed.

This works OK for us although if I was to do it again I would probably put him right up against the bed in a 3 sided bed-side cot like thi

Bedside cot like lowrib says is great, but we just took the side off our normal cot and pushed it up against the bed. It worked fine, although there was a little gap between the mattresses, it wasn't a problem as DD was swaddled and not moving about.
