20mth old will only settle with DH, what to do?

I've had a fairly good sleeper aside from teething and illness until recently. We've just moved house and went on holdiay so understandbly DS is feeling unsettled.

The problem is that it can take me up to 1.5hrs to get him to sleep, whereas DH just pops in tells him to go to sleep and he does instantly.

I have been putting him down and satying for few mins but the moment I leave the room he screams his head off. He does calm down after a few mins but makes no attempt to sleep, just sits in his cot and cries out every now and then. So I repeat the whole process until he eventually sleeps but can take ages and I'ms or sooo tried esp with night wakings.

Naps are in pushchair as he won't settle in cot but I can't keep going out for walks as I have DS1 in tow then too.

I did think it was because he was unsettled that he couldn't self soothe which is whey I kept going back in the room, but now that I know he'll sleep when Dh sees him then not sure what to do. Do I carry on going to him or resort to CC? Help, any ideas appreciated!

Let DH put him to bed/get up at night and thank your lucky stars!!! Mine won't tolerate anyone but me so i am on call all the time...

Have been letting Dh do it over the wkend just so we can have an evening. But tonight it was back to me as he works long hrs in the wk so the nightmare continues. Will give it a few more wks then will think about doing CC as I know he can self soothe, he just chooses not to do it with me!
