Hi - am currently on hols here with friends who are all off on the slopes and I am stuck in chalet with our baby.. is there anything baby centred to do here that any one knows of?
Have asked at Tourist info and they say there is nothing... been for a walk, and lunch.. now wondering what to do...!

The hotel near the post office has an open air pool which is warm and lovely - we took our 10 month old there. Have you been to the farm yet? That's also quite good fun (if a bit smelly!).

It's a long shot but if there is anyone in Val D'Isere this week in a similar position (ie stuck with baby in chalet) who would fancy meeting for a hot chocolate, let me know!!

If you want some time off, you could try contacting T4 nannies and seeing if they have any nannies with some spare time. We have used them several times, and they have always been terrific with my dcs. They came round with lunch and toys each day, took them out, met up for playdates and so on. www.t4nanny.com - they are based in Val, but it's a UK number on the website. It's short notice, but I seem to remember last year my cousin got one for a day by phoning the night before.
