So is Esprit worth the money?

I'm trying to plan a ski holiday for a group of 5 families with kids who will be aged between 7 months and 4 1/2.

Are Esprit really worth the extra?

If i were you for that combo I'd get a chalet - are any of the kids skiing? Crystal do private nannies with chalets. Esprit i think is better for little ones skiing.

i wonder about the adult and children having separate mealtimes. but lots of people love espirit (not used them myself)

Try also SkiBeat and Le Ski. They don't have their own, dedicated ski instructors, but Ski Beat have one of their nannies in the nursery area to help. We have been with both and can def recommend them.

Thanks for those suggestions - off to do a bit more research now!

We as a family have skiied with Esprit for 4 yrs. If you are looking for a chalet for 5 families i.e. about 15-20plus then it would be best to have one for your exclusive use.

They are very good and would recommend them. Their childcare staff are, without a doubt their best asset.
The quality of the chalets vary, but they are truly very good with children.

We had a terrible holiday with Esprit in Tignes a few years ago. They even had to send us vouchers afterwards. No hot water ALL week, live electric wires sticking out of walls at toddler height. Awful food for kids - even reheated adult chili from night before once!
And they only do ESF lessons, who were very austere. I would book independently. Have you looked at Morzine - really child friendly.
Sorry!

I have been with Esprit the past 3 years and have booked again for 2010. The childcare is great and the cost foe ski school and snow club is much better than hiring a private nanny. My ds loves the sociability of being with lots of other children. Esprit also offer really good accommodation price discounts for kids. I'd recommend considering accommodation carefully, reading descriptions about rooms etc. We go for new properties in Peisey and Belle Plagne and are trying Les Gets next year.

We seem to have left it much too late to book! They're having to try to source more flights for us!!
