Buying a Tog 24 Ski Jacket online - dunno what size to go for

There's a choice of 14/16 or 16/18

I'm normally a 14 on top for t-shirts, jumpers, etc. Though I tend to buy a size 16 for coats, especially winter coats so I can get a jumper under them. I'm definetly a size 16 on my bottom half and as the jacket will come half way down my (big) bum I probably need to take that into account.

So I'm thinking maybe I need the bigger size but am worried I'll look like the Michillin man in it. Does anyone know if their sizing comes up big or small?

I bought Tog 24 ski jackets for my 8 year old girls who are usually a size 9-10 in clothes such as M&S, Next etc. A 9-10 Tog 24 was very roomy on them, too big really, so I presume the same would apply to the adult stuff.

Bum, I've ordered the 16/18 earlier today. Bet its going to be massive.

Thanks.

They've emailed me saying I can have a free backpack 'cos I've spent over £100. They've asked me to let them know if I want the backpack adding to the order - so I've emailed them back and said yes to backpack and can you change the size?

Have now actually found a size guide on their website. If your bust is 38" then its a 14/16 you need, if your bust is 40" its a 16/18. My bust is 39"

Bit confusing isn't it! You might be ok with it, particularly with all the other gear underneath.

Although saying that, we all skiied without any jackets last Saturday! It was sooo warm and sunny.

I'd go bigger then it'll be good for whatever you need to wear underneath if you go away at a colder time of year.

Where are you going btw?

Its too late to change the order but the email says they do normaly come up quite big. They've said I can post it back freepost if its the wrong size. Just stressing it will get lost in the post. God I do worry too much.
