Our DS is 18months. our fantastic nanny is coming with us (we're blowing the budget bringing her but i've just had my third miscarriage in eight months so it's a consolation holiday) and she's a non skier so will be looking after DS most of the day but i'm anxious about them getting bored and trying to do as much research as possible before we set off. we'll do some sledging with him and take him to the swimming pool and for little walks. anyone know of anything else for toddlers in Meribel?

There's a little sledging area beside the Rhodos bubble. Can't really think of anything else apart from the swimming pool. Your nanny could make a trip down to Brides-les-Bains in the Olympic bubble for a bit fo varity - and there amy be more stuff down there.

However, there are plenty of nannies who look after toddlers, so maybe just make sure also to take plenty of games and toys over with you to play in the chalet (or are you staying in a hotel).

We took ds every year bar one from when he was 4 months old (can't remember if he was 2.4 or 3.4 the year we didn't take him). He's now 8 and we are just back - he's now had his 5th year on skis and is skiing beutifully down red slopes!
