Children's clothes - sizes?

I'm hoping to get the kids' ski wear off ebay but not sure what sizes to get them. I hope this doesn't sound numb! But I know you have to layer the clothes so I don't want their jackets to be too small once you've put a fleece & thermals underneath.

DD is 7.5 and is approx 115cm tall. She wears size 6 tops from Pumpkin Patch and age 7 in Next.

DS is 4.5 and is approx 1m tall. He wears size 3 tops from Pumpkin Patch and age 4 in Next.

I guess I'm hoping someone has a child who's the same size and can tell me what size skiwear their child wears. I'm looking at Trespass/Dare2be brands mainly.

Btw getting them to a shop to try on jackets etc is like pushing water uphill.
Thanks.

I'd go for aged 6 and 4 if you want them to fit. ime they usually come up generous rather than skimpy to allow for layers. dd then aged 6 (just under 110cm )wore aged 3-4 salopettes last year from Trespass which were fine, nicely cut and had ventilation zips for warmer days, and a 3-4 Dare2be jacket from year before which was snug, but also got away with 116cm H and M salopettes! The legs can be ok whether too long or short as the boot is quite high and they normally have an elasticated inner cuff to fit around it . Also look for jackets with adjustable velcro cuffs that stop snow going up the inside and also mean you can get away with slightly too long sleeves. Next come up huge and shapeless in skiwear and didn't used to have the shoulder straps needed for smaller ones so we avoid.
