Just wondering if you could tell me:

What time you arrived in Belle Plagne (assuming you were on 9am-ish flight?). Also, did you go to Chambery or Geneva?

Did you manage to collect ski's and helmets etc the same day as arrival or was that done first thing Monday morning?

How far from hotel is ski hire shop?

What time did you have to leave on departure day?

Thanks!

We were in Belle Plagne a couple of weeks ago. meant to be on 7:45am flight from Gatwick to Chambery, but got delayed until 08:45. Once in air flight great only about 1hr 15 min. Chambery airport tiny - very little space to wait for bags - no trollies. Had to wait at least 1 hr on coach for passengers from another plane to appear (weather was poor so lots of delays). coach transfer took about 2 hrs, so arrived in resort just ater 3pm

Esprit rep took as to hire shop at about 4pm on the sunday, so all kitted up and ready to go for the morning. Hire shop is about 5 minutes walk away in commerical centre - takes twice as long on way back with all the equipment! Quite a few steps to negotiate which was not fun. also Hotel does not let you take ski equipment in lift back down to boot room, so more steps there.

We had a flight back around 11:30, and transfer from hotel was about 8:10am, so very civilised. Take sick bags for coach transfer - several were on ours returning home!
