dress code issues for chalet hotel

We are staying in Chalet Hotel Deux Domaines in Belle Plagne from 1st Feb. We have only stayed in chalets before so I have a few questions:

Do guests get more dressed up for evening meal in a chalet hotel or are fleeces/jeans/t-shirts ok?

Also, am used to slobbing around chalet in cosy slippers (due to outside footwear ban). Will that be the same in a chalet-hotel or do I need to take other shoes?

Finally, with DCs, they spent most of their time schlepping around in base layers and a t-shirt, slippers. Will they need to be changed into proper trousers to run around the hotel in?

apologies if any of this is blindingly obvious

Just come back from there and 99% of women are in jeans and casual tops. One lady dressed up in heels, black dress, etc. But I was inwardly judging and sniggering. She stuck out like a sore thumb.

I wore slippers round the hotel but lots of people wore outside shoes. There isn't a ban on outdoor footware in Deux Domaines.

Kids will be fine in base layers - it seemed to be a 50/50 mix of those kids still in base layers and those in trousers.

Hope you enjoy yur stay, I've done a long post on my thoughts on the place......

Stripey - thanks for your reply . Am glad to hear most are in jeans and tops....will not be in mood for heels after a days skiing. Not to mention the already crowded suitcase situation that comes with a ski break.

Sorry that it wasn't as lovely as you hoped. Have raised a few concerns on your other thread.
