We have a columbia snowsuit, hats, sunglasses, gloves. Does she just need plenty of warm layers underneath or do you get baby thermals??

I think layers are fine. Just remember to take layers off when in doors. The most important thing I can remember about taking a baby to the snow was his cheeks, he was 4 mths. We applied loads of sun cream, however the wind/cold breeze really chapped his cheeks.

I think layers are fine too. Agree about the chapped cheeks though . My DCs suffer with this even now (aged 4 and 8). We use loads of suncream and then slather on something like zinc & castor oil before bed. Seems to do the trick.

Layers are key - tights and long sleeved body suit as a base. Hat , mittens and bootees as extremities go cold first. If she's in a pushchair use the raincover as a wind break.
