Free ski passes for children

We enjoy skiing with our dcs, but they are getting older and we are looking for resorts that are free for children older than 5 - I think some Italian and Austrian resorts are free for children older than this (we have 7 + 5 year old).

Also interested in resorts with good discounts for ISIA holders.

We live in Muehlbach am Hochkoenig which is part of the Ski Amade area, 5 year olds ski free here and also from 21st March one child under 15 per parent buying a 6 day pass gets their pass free, see here

Try Zermatt - under 9's get free passes - or Kronplatz in Italy - up to 8 year olds free.

LunarSea · 26/11/2008 23:52

Oh - and Kronplatz gives a 30% discount for ISIA too.

Look at Switzerland too - think kids ski free there up to a certain age.

The whole of the Dolomiti SuperSki area has free passes for U8s - i.e. born after 29/11/2000.
