Thanks for the heads up.

You can already order it, too. Dont' wait. I've ordered the suede boots for DD already.

JackieYoHoHo · 19/09/2008 14:21

(sorry - that'd be 'don't')

Thanks for the headsup. I ordered ski jacket/trousers last week for our DD. Should be getting it this week.

TiddlerTiddler · 01/10/2008 20:50

I have missed it. Damn. All sold out. Do they do another round or is that it for the season?

Should ski jackets be waterproof or water repellant? I got ds the jacket and reading the box saw it said water repellant, which made me wonder.

LIZS · 02/10/2008 17:51

ideally waterproof but also windproof and breathable. You see a lot of them on the ski slopes though so normally they are perfectly fine.

thanks lizs, another question, snowboots, the tchibo ones were waterproof but just like ankle boots, would it be better for children to have taller ones like wellies?

LIZS · 02/10/2008 18:24

We've found the shorter ones warmer and a better fit to walk in, really depends how much snow they are likely to sink in. Most salopettes /snow suits have an elasticated cuff underneath to go over the top of the boot so snow doesn't go up the leg. If you go for "wellies" they should be properly insulated.
