La Sonnaille with Snowfocus

Anyone been to this chalet? Can you recommend? It says it is "luxury" but the pictures don't look very luxury to me...

It has great reviews on here though.

Please help - our chalet with Esprit has fallen through as they had already booked out one of the rooms without telling us and I am frantically trying to sort something else!

sorry only just seen this, may be too late replying. We have skied with them a few times but not for 2/3 years now as they tend to get booked up in school hols early. We think they are brilliant - personal service and very relaxed hosts, great ski-ing area and for us when kids were younger the opportunity to mix and match childcare/ski lessons without having to be anywhere near any of that admin, ie the adults can if they wish go off at 9 and return at 5 and get a full days ski-ing in.

I think they are ideal if you are a keen skier and relaxed about someone else looking after your kids. If you are happy ski-ing a couple of hours and nipping down to pick up the kids and the holiday is about being in the mountains or you prefer to self cater then this would seem expensive.
