I've skiied in Austria and Poland. I'm thinking of going at Easter 2027, so end of March (23rd onwards.) Any recs on what my best bet will be then?

I can easily fly to Barcelona/ Reus for Andorra, Málaga for Sierra Nevada, Krakow and Prague. Probably charter flights to Bulgaria too.

If it works out Sierra Nevada would probably be my favourite to try, but I'll have to figure out prices and availability of English speaking lessons for a complete beginner, and slopes that would suit a mix of experience.

Is there a reason you are a avoiding high French resorts which are a really good bet at this time of year

Yes this. I’d go to Tignes/Val d’Isere.

Would definitely be going to Tignes/Val or Val Thorens to guarantee good snow and English speaking lessons.

With global warming I think skiing at Easter is going to become increasingly rare.

Well sadly you might be right in the long term but for the purposes of OP question it wouldn’t put me off booking for next year (I already have in fact). You really do need to pick your resort carefully hence the recommendation of Val/Tignes. Other high altitude resorts are available and Easter is early next year.

We ski for two weeks in Tignes every Easter, never had a problem with snow. Potentially in the future but the high resorts will be the last to go and a big resort has excellent snow management to keep things working.
