Ski jacket

I’m looking to upgrade my ski jacket for next year as my current one makes me look huge and is just not very nice. I would absolutely love a jacket that goes in at the waist, comes slightly over your bum and looks like I’m a skier who should be in a fancy resort gliding down with no effort (which I never will be 😂). Can’t seem to find anything that fits the bill on my own so wondered if anyone had any recommendations please?

I’ve got a north face jacket which isn’t too chunky. Works in December and March… it’s actually very similar to my previous jacket. I hate looking like a blob on the pistes. Current colour is a sage green which is perhaps better than the previous red.

Beige definitely was the colour in Italy 2 weeks ago. I was in typical red white & black

Look for Poivre Blanc ski jackets on Vinted - they are usually belted and more fitted.

From what I saw on the slopes this year, the general trend is baggy neutral colours. I used to have a poivre blanc belted ski jacket but it was looking dated and also hard to stuff lip balm, spf etc into the tiny pockets.
I have a couple of jackets from the Helly Hansen sale last year. I have a down style one that is more fitted than a normal ski jacket but not tight, they have a similar style this season.
