Can anyone recommend a resort that would be good for learning snowboarding? I'm a decent skier but DH hates it, though would like to learn to board.
I figured I might as well join him - he only ever manages half a day on the slopes at a time so I can ski for the rest of the day. We've both tried snowboarding before (for a couple of mornings) at a Club Med resort & at Hinterglemm (where I discovered I absolutely can't manage a button lift on a board, so would like to avoid nursery slopes with this), but are pretty much beginners. The dc will come if they can get time off work, so somewhere with some bars and nightlife would be good.
