Alpe D’Huez or somewhere else similar…

Hoping for some ideas!
We always ski at Christmas - long story of personal reasons! We’ve done various Canada, Lapland places, Kaprun and Obergurgl and most recently repeat visits to Alpe DHuez. Due to limited holiday days this year we’ll be doing 4 nights so ease of getting to important. I’m tempted to just book same Alpe D’Huez trip again as we like it - good hotel with hot outdoor pool, nice food and wine, sunny and easy to get to. But is it boring?! I’ve seen Cervinia might suit us but any other ideas?!

Bumping for you

This isn't probably the answer you're looking for. But, you clearly love Alpes D'Huez, so I'd probably go back there. I don't think that would be boring at all.

This year we are off to Tignes. And it'll be the 6th time in a row that I've been. I love it. I know it so well that I dont have to spend much time looking at piste maps and I know what the runs are like so I can avoid the ones I don't like. Also, I dont worry so much about losing the kids because they also know where they are and where they are going.

I know the nice bars and restaurants. There are so many runs that i wont get bored of them.

I'd recommend Tignes but, regardless of which airport you go to, the transfer is pretty long. Which wouldn't be ideal for 4 days.

Thank you @SatsumasRock. Nice to know others feel the same about when you find a place you like and know!

Alpe D'Huez is a great place to go. We have been twice. As you are only going for a short stay, you will already know the layout so won't have to waste time finding your way around.

Cervinia is great but can be a bit bleak in mid winter. Very exposed, all above the tree line.
