UK passport and Geneva Airport - how long to get through?

Has anyone been through Geneva Airport on a UK passport recently and can give me any idea how long it will take to get through the passport controls? Obviously it will vary, but a rough idea would be helpful so I can book the transfer. Geneva airport is my least favourite but needs must. TIA

very variable… When I went through last week it was VERY long. Maybe an hour or more? That was around 4pm Saturday 3rd Jan. On the return it was 5-10 minutes.

But other people have said it was 10 minutes at a different time of day.

we also had a very long wait for outside luggage (car seats) and lots of bags had gone missing the same day

Avoid Saturdays during ski season and it’s super rapid.

On a Saturday this time of yr (ski season) we’ve often queued for an hour at passport control coming into Geneva. Bags are usually waiting on the carousel when we get through

I went through last Monday and it was about 15 minutes.

An hour going there and much quicker returning - try and avoid peak parts of the season (Xmas/new year, Feb half term etc).

You need to tell your transfer company your flight number, they will give you instructions, usually you call them after immigration
