Are merino base layers and snoods the answer for my sensitive big kids?!

my kids are very temperature sensitive. Too cold and too hot!! Especially when skiing.

DD was telling me how much she hates her neck warmer. Cold cold cold. HOT 🔥…… remove….. FREEZING 🥶

I believe merino base layers AND merino neck warmer might be the answer with a fleece (or merino?) layer over the top……. What would you recommend They need to be hard wearing with my kids!!
altho my oldest is man sized as he is too broad and rugby fit to squeeze into a lot of teen clothes. He tells me His Arms and legs get uncomfortable so perhaps I need small man for him?
anyway. Are merino base layers the answer I’m looking for…..

Me too.. all feels fine at bottom of lifts but as soon as you’re half way up it’s freezing. I would usually wear a merino base layer and another thin one but depends on thickness of jacket and temp of resort.

Best solution is to ski with a small backpack so they can take layers off.
