Going on my first ski trip with DDs aged 10 & 14. We are going to Les Arcs 1800. I am booking ski lessons but not sure if I should book group lessons but we will be split up or private and we will be together? Going for a week so I want to get the most it. Travelling with friends but the can ski. I just don’t know what to do!

I would suggest DDs in a teen group and you in an adult group, each morning. If money is no object private may be better for you, but as adults and kids/teens usually progress at different speeds I wouldn’t suggest you all go in the same group.

The kids will progress a lot quicker than you generally so I would put them in group and have a couple of private lessons for yourself. You will see a lot more progress on a private as a beginner and be able to try and keep up with the kids progress.
