Not been to that one but have considered it...not helpful I know! I've been to 2 other kinder/kinder style hotels in Austria and from my experience you should have no problems at all with English. Definitely find English spoken widely in Zell am See.

We're thinking of going to Zell am See next year and I'd be inerested to hear any (good or bad) experiences.

Have stayed at several other Kinderhotels which have all been excellent and great value for money, but would love to hear from anyone who's stayed at the Hagleitner.

Zell am See is lovely. Havent been to that Hotel but it is such a nice resort, I would recommend it. Little town is lovely and it is a proper town rather than a purpose built resort, and the skiing was great too, plenty to keep you busy. As far as English speaking it seemed that most people spoke it really well and some didnt speak it at all. I am sure you can get by tho, they are used to tourists.

some of my family has been there. English is widely spoken. Fabulous facilities for children and the food is wonderful. An added bonus is the adult-only spa in the sister hotel next door next door which you can use.
