Hello,

please could anyone advise of suitable resorts for our family, consisting of myself (beginner)8 year old DS (beginner) and one non skier? Ideally my partner could spend the days exploring a local town/village, using a spa, meeting us on the slopes for lunch. Bonus points for being easily accessible so partner could potentially just come for a few days of a 7 day break the return to work. My son and I have both only skied once before so no need for a vast piste map. Would like to keep it under 3k if possible.

thank you!

Hi Off the top of my head, Megeve/St Gervais for spa town with ski and also close to Geneva. May be light on snow at village level but no problem up at 1800 metres or so.
also close to Geneva is Morzine which is a town with things to do. Tons of British operators to help you get sorted pre trip and during. You can buy a local area pass, you don’t need the Portes du Soleil one.
enjoy!
