Also interested in what the accommodation is like

id love separate sleeping space to my kids but not sure that is possible at UCPA

attracted to it for location. Avoiding self catering. Affordability.

please tell me you (& your kids!) had a good time when you went?!

I love Valloire but not been there for years. It’s a proper little town. I’m afraid no idea about accommodation. We will be out the week of new year (further south towards Vars) and I know you’ll be able to ski. Query whether coverage might be better in La Plagne? Id suggest looking at booking.com or contacting tourist office direct. When I was last there we managed to get a small Appartment from or through tourist office I think (neatly 30 years ago). It’s cheaper than the better known places.

UCPA la Plagne is nice.

My friends have been to Flaine a few times with UCPA clearly OK too.

I prefer La plagne as a resort though Flaine I pretty good.

Love the UCPA vibe

The food is great, kit excellent, the lessons also good (I didn’t go to them) my friend always do.

The rooms in La plagne are en-suite, so unlike Val D, you don’t need pissflops for your feet!

My comments might be a bit late! Sorry @AnonMJ

I’ve been to UCPA Flaine. The rooms were en-suite and it’s almost ski-in ski-out, so it was very convenient. The food was good and plentiful. Could be a bit noisy at times at night when they had stuff going on downstairs.
