Les Carroz or somewhere close by for Christmas/New Year 2025

We have - possibly rashly - booked really good value flights to Geneva for Christmas 2025 and are now looking at accommodation. DH is the "book the cheapest shoebox because we'll be on the slopes 24/7" tribe; I am more realistic about wanting some creature comforts.

Does anyone have any recommendations about either self-catering, or catered chalets, or hotels? Any good travel companies that could help? There are three of us (me, DH and only-just adult DD) but other families might join us.

Thanks 😊

We have stayed in both Les Chalets de Jouvence and Les chalets de Leana in Les Carroz. Leana is newer and in the village centre. Chalets de Jouvence is at the foot of the slopes but a bit older. I would stay at Les chalets de Jouvence to maximise your time on the slopes.
you could also look at Flaine which is in the same ski area but a higher base. We booked through peak retreats who are good value and also offer decent customer service including a 24 hour helpline. We book early (usually around May/June) to get the 10% early booking discount.

Yes I would definitely think about somewhere a bit higher at that time of year, Flaine is usually pretty snow sure.

I'd be worried about the snow even in Flaine, but that has a better record. Les Carroz is pretty low and you might end up having to get lifts up and down

last time we went we stayed in Rockypop in Flaine and I've stayed in Les Carroz but sorry can't recall the name of the chalet. Worth speaking to someone at Skiline
