Can anyone recommend a ski school in alpe d’huez?
we have only found esf and ideally would like someone like evolution.
kids are beginners.
alternatively can anyone recommend a beginner friendly resort, high enough to be snow sure for christmas, short transfer with good child friendly english speaking ski school?

Supreme is a good ski school although I’ve never been to ADH.
Otherwise Les Menuires?

Thank you. Is Les Menuires high enough to be snow sure at Christmas?
who do you book with?

Les M is fine, and easy to get up to VT for high altitude skiing, or just stay up there but it does add to transfer time. There’s also Les Arcs. Christmas skiing is more about luck than just altitude these days
I DIY my own trip… just prefer the flexibility tbh

Have a look at Austria - I preferred Austria to France when DD was young as they allowed Brits, Kiwis, Aussies, Canadians to teach skiing in Austria, so we had a native English speaking instructor. In Alpe D'huez with ESF, DD was one of two English speaking children in a class of 10 - 12. The ESF instructor only spoke English when correcting her, so she didn't benefit from hearing what he was telling other children. Plus in St. Anton children's lift passes are free up to the age of 8 (this winter season, children's passes are free for those born 2017 and later). We skied in St Anton at Christmas. We used to go with Esprit (which has now stopped) but believe Inghams go to St Anton.
