Which airport for Mongenevre

We have accommodation booked in Montgenevre for Feb half term 2025. We had booked Ryanair flights to Turin, however they emailed yesterday advising that they have completely changed the flight times which really don’t suit us 😡

Obviously Turin is closest to Montgenevre, but Saturday flights from the UK (Manchester ideally) are very limited.

Other options would be to fly to Grenoble, Chambery or Geneva. All with longer transfers, but better flight times. I’ve read horror stories about Grenoble and Chambery airports. Geneva flights are more expensive though. One of our party gets v travel sick so the transfers are a concern too!

Also considered the Eurostar/ TGV, but have read that no trains can get to nearby Oulx this season due to a landslide.

Any advice re. travel/airports/transfers to Mongenevre would be appreciated! Thanks!

You could also fly to Milan Malpensa which is a two hour transfer. There’s more information about transfers to Montgenevre on this page:Go Montgenevre

This happened with our trip to Montgenèvre over Christmas - Ryanair drastically changed our flights times to ones that didn’t work with a ski holiday.

Looked into other airports but transfers to and from resort were very costly. In the end we changed uk airports.

Nb. inexplicably it worked out much cheaper to cancel and rebook flights with Ryanair rather than pay their fees to change.

Marseilles is another option. It’s 3 hours minimum, but lots of flights (at least from London - not sure about Manchester).
