Catered chalet for 8 near to a good ski school

We seem to be looking for the impossible!

2 families looking for a catered chalet (very) close to a good ski school (essential). Only 1 of the 8 needs ski school and childcare but it could make or break the trip!

Not essential: Ideally Sunday to Sunday
2 1/2 hour transfer maximum. Top marks if the transfer is included.

Does anyone have any ideas?

What time of year are you looking at? That might help you at least narrow down some resorts.

La plagne?

End of February.

Choosing a resort isn’t the problem that we’re having, it’s finding a chalet that’s really close to good ski and childcare that seems tricky. No busses, no private transfers, just really close!!

We went with Ski Famille last year and would highly recommend. All of their chalets offer childcare. We went to La Plagne and ski school was 2 mins walk from the chalet. They also have chalets in Les Menuires/Les Bruyeres which is all ski in/ski out, or a very short walk to pistes, and Les Gets, Although just seen you don't want Les Gets. All Holidays have flights and transfers included.

Thanks, only 1 of the group needs childcare and it feels as if they charge all guests a premium to cover their losses for those who don’t book childcare. Family Ski Company are the same.
