Snow boots Laax in March?

My DS going to Laax next week with friend & his family. We’ve not skied for about 5 years so have cobbled together all his stuff from friends and have everything. But not snow boots. Will he need? We’ve always taken in the past but barely worn them so if he can get away with trainers would be good

Have a look at the webcams to see if you can gauge how much snow is in the resort they'll be in live.flimslaax.com/en/webcams . Weather forecast will tell you if any more snow is due.

They've just had a load of fresh snow. Either walking boots or snowboots would be useful.

Laax is quite low. He should be OK but (as pointed out) depends on the weather/snowfall which can change rapidly. Also depends on activities. Might they be tobogganing / sledging etc? snowboots are very cheap in decathlon. Otherwise sturdy trainers will be fine in nearly all circumstances.
