April ski resort 2-3hrs from Oslo with ice rink

Hello!
We are thinking to fly to Oslo in the beginning of April and spend 6 day at the ski resort.
Our kids are 5 and 8 and are beginner skiers. We have looked at Trysil as it is marketed as a family resort, however it does not have an ice ring that rents out skates. This is a deal breaker for us and so we are back to square one 🙈
I am looking for alternative resort driving distance from Oslo that is child friendly and has ice rink near by.
Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment and really would appreciate some advice or suggestion 🙏

We've just come back from Hafjell.

We stayed in lillehammer.

We didn't use it but it seems there is a place that hires skates. www.hafjellresort.no/en/ice-skating-track-lillehammer

There are a few to choose from near to Sälen.

Hotel Bügelhof for example has it's own ice skating, free of charge for skates, ice hockey sticks etc.
