Have used them for a few ski holidays but I always feel like they’re inflating the prices vs booking direct with the hotels…
Anyone got any other recommendations? Like the hotels / service, just don’t like feeling like I’m overpaying….
TIA

What do you need? Kids’ stuff or just someone to drive you about and book restaurants etc?

We DIY now and have two ski holidays of equivalent quality for less than we used to pay for a week (first with SD and then we moved onto, and then on from, a similar high end ski operator). I don’t miss either of them at all and in fact it’s probably more fun.

it does take a bit more research but find a decent ski in ski out hotel and you are half way there. Pretty much everything else can be booked online and you save a fortune without compromising on quality.

Mainly for the kids club (they’re so much better than a generic hotel kids club) and having someone who can deal with all the admin for me… Often end up booking last minute and I am time constrained.
Agree that with more time and as the kids get older, just sorting it myself might just work…

I’m not sure anywhere else offers a kids’ club quite like that. You could look at Club Med, Swiss family hotels or Kinderhotels depending which country you’re keen on, and age of the kids.
Ultimately Scott Dunn’s USP is its appeal to cash rich, time poor families. Oxford Ski or VIP might work if you are happy to move to a private nanny? As the kids get older, time in the kids club is wasted time when they want to ski more and more anyway.
